The Development Assistance Committee and its subsidiary bodies have had regular contacts with NGOs in recent years. Most of these contacts have been ad hoc, some involving the OECD Development Centre, which is the OECD’s research and policy dialogue interface with developing countries. Some NGOs have been invited to participate as observers in working groups, or to make one-off presentations in areas of their expertise.
