Finance and investment
The OECD covers financial issues related to banking, securities and institutional investors, promotes liberalisation in financial services and the development of international financial best practices. It promotes co-operation among governments concerning FDI and other capital movements, helping to improve the domestic policy environment for attracting and reaping the full benefits of FDI. The OECD has adopted certain legal instruments relating to investment.
The Delegation takes an active part in the range of financial and investment discussions at the OECD, including the management of the OECD's Declaration and Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
